Royal Air Force C17 ZZ175 made thirty-minute appearance shortly before midday, flying with call sign "Ascot6645".

Karthago Airlines started a weekly flight from Monastir during the morning, with Boeing 737-300 TS-IED operating as KAJ6422/6423.

Clickair Airbus 320 EC-ICR positioned in from Barcelona to fly a mid morning outbound charter for Futura as FUA1450 to Palma.

Air Slovakia helped out the based Air Malta charter program, sending Boeing 757-200 OM-ASB from Bratislava to operate to Fuerteventura and back as AMC6604/6605 during the day.

Challenger JY-AW3 arrived early evening to park on Stand 84R, whilst CL605 N533TS recently became G-OCSF, and was noted parked remote from the Ocean Sky ramp early evening.

Blue Panorama Boeing 767-300 EI-CZH arrived amongst the early morning melee to operate for XL Airways to Lanzarote and back as XLA220/221.

New registrations included Thomsonfly Boeing 737-800 G-FDZJ arriving at midday to be based, operating out to Tel Aviv and VLM Airlines Fokker 50 OO-VLP (PH-DMT in old money) visiting from Antwerp.

Air Pullmantur Boeing 747-300 EC-IOO positioned in during the evening to operate for Thomas Cook Airlines.

A wave of aircraft movements overnight heading east to Russia with a variety of airlines providing seats for football supporters with Seagle Air Boeing 737-300 OM-HLC, Jetran Air MD-82 YR-MDK and Aigle Azur Airbus 321 F-HBAF all passing through in the early hours. Click here for more images.

Notables amongst the regular operations included a return visit from new Travel Service Boeing 737-800 OK-TVH, this time flying for Monarch Airlines to Palma and back (MON532/3), Adria CRJ-900 S5-AAK (ADR462/3) appearing to prefer Manchester more than sister ship 'AAL and Delta Air Lines Boeing 757-200 N723TW in from New York JFK (DAL154/5).

Exec traffic during the day started with Learjet 55 D-CWAY amongst the early movements, Citation Sovereign D-CHDC later in the morning and Learjet 60 TC-ARC, an evening arrival.

More aircraft arrived or visited during the day to help out with the midweek Manchester United supporters mass departure to Moscow including Travel Service Boeing 737-800 OK-TVH in the early hours, Air Slovakia Boeing 737-300 OM-ASC later in the morning, another two Corsair 747-400s - F-GTUI and F-HSUN, Jetran Air MD-82 YR-MDS, Boeing 767-300s G-CDPT & HB-JJG and Privilege Boeing 757-200 EC-HDS positioning back in late afternoon as PVG914P.

Daimler Chrysler Airbus 319CJ D-ADNA arrived from Stuttgart late morning as DCS163 for a two hour stay before heading off to Moscow Domodedovo.

Corsairfly Boeing 747-400 F-HKIS landed from Paris Orly mid afternoon as CRL10 in readiness to help with the football supporter exodus to Russia for the midweek Champions League football final.

Other notable airliner traffic included an early morning visit from CSA Airbus 321 OK-CED, out to Moscow as CSA8782 and Flightline MD-83 G-FLTK positioning from Stansted as FLT410P mid evening. 

Ocean Sky's Citationjet 525B OE-GJF departed their terminal during the afternoon having arrived late Sunday. Other exec movements included Falcon 2000 OY-CKN (MMD4235) and new UK CJ2 G-ODAG (EDC801).
