Dragonair Boeing 747-400F B-KAF touched down from Dubai mid morning operating Cathay Cargo flight CPA039.

Another far east freight movement of note was the second visit from Great Wall Airlines Boeing 747-400 converted freighter B-2430 in from Amsterdam as GWL8744.

Boeing 747-400 day was completed early evening when Corsair example F-HSEX positioned from Paris Orly as CRL046 to nightstop.

Other traffic saw Air Europa Boeing 767-300 EC-HKS position in as AEA002 wearing the livery of Zoom Airlines UK (with G-UKZM reserved) for attention with MyTravel Engineering, and Flightline (Aviajet) MD-83 arrive to operate a Monarch charter. 

GA & executive visitors were numerous with Silver Arrows Global Express LX-VIP making a quiet visit from the South as SVW20VP early afternoon and later in the day, the arrival of Learjet 35 C-GIWO from Leeds Bradford.

After a 12-hour rest stop, Boeing 717 SX-BOA continued its journey to Athens early afternoon, again calling as OAL418.

NEA was again kept busy during the day, first, by a visit from Citation 560 OE-GCP mid morning, and later the arrival of Learjet 60 VP-BGS from Farnborough.

New Finnair Embraer 190 OH-LKG dropped in late afternoon operating FIN937L from Helsinki on its first day of revenue service.

Later, Prague Airport livery Boeing 737-800 OK-TVD of Travel Service positioned in as TVS128 to nightstop ready for a Tuesday morning departure to Dusseldorf.

Boeing 717-200 SX-BOA touched down in the few remaining seconds of the day as OAL418 from Keflavik. The aircraft started its journey in Miami and wears full 'Spanair' livery.

Luzair TriStar CS-TMP positioned from Lisbon early morning to fly to Dalaman for FlyJet as FJE861, returning mid evening.

A Gulfstream fest during the day included a return visit from G300 N826RP (NWD826) and arrival of GLF4 N468AB in the late sun to join NetJets G550 N531QS at NEA, whilst Gulfstream 4 VT-PLL left the executive ramp at tea-time. 

Making use of the blue sky mid afternoon were a pair of RAF Merlin helicopters. ZH837 ("Kingfisher1") and ZH856 ("Tiger1") both causing a stir, passing through the overhead several times flying to Woodford.

Midday saw an invasion of GA and executive arrivals mostly in connection with the afternoon football. Notables amongst the many including Challenger 604 N604TH, Cessna Caravan N208EC and Agusta 109 EI-JFC.

The afternoon saw the rain come down, and amongst the deluge, more exec traffic included Aviation Beauport Citation XL G-XBEL (AVB831/832), Gulf550 N531QS, Citationjet N224CJ and the late evening arrival of Gulfstream 4 VT-PLL.

A 'bizzier' than usual Saturday began with the departure of Excellence Air Dornier 328 D-CTOB (GZA5525) at midday and later in the day, the arrivals of Hawker 400XP G-STOB and '800XP N906AS. Gulfstream 300 N826RP touched down late evening as 'NewWorld826' (NWD826).

'CRJ' notables during the day included Lufthansa -900 D-ACKI on the morning Munich flight and Adria 200 model S5-AAJ from Ljubljana amongst the afternoon downpours on their reinstated ADR462/463 schedule (- a year to the day since its one previous visit).

Futura Boeing 737-400 EC-KDZ had its livery modified during the day before continuing ops for Jet2 as EXS169 to Ibiza.

Zoom Airlines recently acquired Boeing 757-200 C-GTSN made another visit on the OOM248/559 Toronto schedule during the morning.

Executive traffic included the departure of Falcon 2000 I-ARIF on the stroke of midday after nightstop on the NEA ramp.

Air Berlin Boeing 737-300 D-AGEA was first visit #1 during evening from Stansted as BER8054, soon followed by Fokker 50 PH-KZG on VLM07R from Rotterdam and at dusk, Icelandair 757 TF-FIA on ICE440/441 (the aircraft is the former EC-HIT of Iberia).

Airbus 300F TC-MNU made an appearance during the evening, visiting on yet another MNG Cargo ad-hoc freight service from Istanbul as MNB121/122.

Qatar Airways sent recently acquired Airbus 330-200 A7-ACL from Doha on their morning QTR41/42 flight for its maiden appearance.

The evening saw Boeing 737-800 D-AHFX visit on the TUIfly schedule from Stuttgart, wearing an unusual tail design featuring a flamingo.

In between, the less pleasing on the lense Boeing 737-300 G-ZAPZ of Titan Airways arrived from, and departed to Prague on behalf of Jet2 and on the GA front, Learjet 45 G-JANV (formerly known as N124AV) flew to Prestwick and back.

Finnair upgraded to an A321 on their morning Helsinki flight with OH-LZF doing the honours on FIN933.

Another day, another new FlyBe. DHC-400. This time, G-JECW taking its turn to visit on the Belfast evening schedules.

Skyservice re-acquired Airbus 330 OY-VKI for the summer, with the aircraft leaving for Toronto as C-GVKI in the evening sun as SSV590.

XL Airways called on their French partner during the day, with A330 F-GRSQ positioning in to operate to Arrecife as XLA220 before positioning back to Paris CDG before dusk.

Futura Boeing 737-400 EC-KDZ (ex D-ABAH) positioned in from Barcelona late morning to replace EC-JNU on Jet2 services, departing on its first mission as EXS897 to Budapest.

FlyBe. DHC-8 400 G-JECV visited from Southampton for the first time either side of midday on the BEE7365/7366 scheduled service.

Monarch Airlines Boeing 757-200 G-MOND positioned Gatwick late afternoon to operate MYT115 to Ibiza for MyTravel, having recently, and aptly, adopted the logos of dance record label Hedkandi for summer 2007.

Amongst the big stuff, Cirrus SR20 G-VGAG made its way in mid morning from Luton, later followed by Diamond Star DA40 G-EMDM.
