Cathay Cargo Boeing 747-400F B-HUH operated the additional once weekly CX037/038 Hong Kong freight service during the morning, replacing the usual -200F model on the route.

Pakistan Int'l Boeing 777 AP-BGL caused a stir shortly after touching down early morning from Toronto as PK789 when a smoky undercarriage led to a full successful evacuation before the aircraft could reach its Terminal 2 gate.

Other movements once the commotion died down included Air Atlanta 747-200 TF-AMD operating for Cathay Cargo as CX001/002, plus the late morning arrivals of Learjet 35 D-CAPO and Beech 90 King Air OO-IAL.
