Also
during the morning, new Turkish Airlines Airbus 321 TC-JRE
took a bow on the THY1993/1994 schedule from Istanbul.

DHC-8 400 G-JECL on approach with a prop stopped, the

west apron. The aircraft will eventually have to flout
the new UK smoking in public places ban (!!), with
departure planned before midday on Monday.

Boeing 747 9V-JEA (previously JA8192 with Nippon Cargo)
headed off eastbound after its first Manchester
nightstop, departing as JEC802 in sunshine (the sun
still exists!!) during the morning.
Other
traffic during the day included an early morning visit
from Citationjet 525 OO-IDE to the NEA ramp
(re-appearing briefly later), and Air
Memphis MD-83 SU-BME flying for Libyan Arab on their
LAA106 Tripoli schedule.
Evening
visitors of note were Air Berlin Airbus 320 D-ABDA in
from Hamburg for the first time operating the
BER8264/8265 schedule and G5 Executive Gulf 550 HB-JEV
on its second visit, calling "Batman272/273".
