Manchester Airport, Sunday 31st July

A definite change from the normal Sunday traffic saw Royal Netherlands Air Force KC-10 T-264 touch down mid afternoon as NAF048 Heavy.

Luzair L1011 TriStar CS-TMP returned from Rhodes mid morning as EUK437, later returning to Lisbon empty as EUK437P.

Also operating for Air Atlanta Europe was Dubrovnik Airline MD-83 9A-CDA, this time to Paphos as EUK100 after positioning in from its Croatian home base.

Boeing 737-500 OM-SEF made only its second visit as such (though is the former HA-LKO), operating NE190/191 from/to Bratislava as Sky Europe swap around fleet registrations.

Skyservice Airbus 319 C-GTDX visited from/to Palma early evening as SSV2262/2263, replacing the usual Air Scandic MD83 on the charter service.

Air Wales ATR-42 G-CDFF filled in for Aurigny on the afternoon GR674/675 Guernsey schedule.

Onur Air Airbus 300-600 TC-OAO (formerly of Lufthansa) paid its first visit from/to Dalaman during the morning as OHY379/380 

Air Mediterranee Airbus 321 F-GYAP positioned in during the early hours to operate a daytrip to Lourdes and back as BIE301A/302A.

Yes Charter TriStar CS-TMX arrived from Lisbon to again operate for Excel Airways, this time to Hurghada as XLA2300 early afternoon.

Manchester Airport, Thursday 28th July

Corsair Airbus 330 F-HCAT positioned from Paris Orly late morning to operate for Thomas Cook. The aircraft departed early afternoon to Faro as TCX420K.

Moroccan Air Force C130 Hercules CNA-OL provided a change from the usual Saudi examples at Manchester, arriving early morning for a three hour stay as RMAF201.

'Newer' members of the Loganair Saab 340 fleet continue to visit on the LOG962/3 Londonderry schedule, with G-LGNI making its second visit still wearing the basic livery of former operator, Moldovan Airlines.

Jet Alliance Citation 750 OE-HAC added to the executive movement statistics, arriving at an overcast and wet Ringway during the morning rush hour as JAG75.

Atlantic Airlines Lockheed Electra G-LOFB arrived from Coventry during the afternoon to carry freight to Shannon as AAG746.

Scheduled movements saw first visits from Loganair Saab 340 G-LGNK on their reinstated LOG962/963 Londonderry service, Air Berlin Boeing 737-800 D-ABBR operating AB8112/3 from/to Paderborn and Lufthansa Regional CRJ D-ACRM on both LH4882/3 + 4884/5 Dusseldorf flights.

German Air Rescue Learjet 35 D-CCAA touched down from Athens mid evening as "Ambulance 673".

Earlier in the day, new Netjets Citation 550 Bravo CS-DHP paid its first visit, arriving from Cannes shortly after midday as NJE923P.

Gulfstream 5 N410M touched down mid morning to nightstop remote off the Northern Executive apron.

Learjet 60 LX-OMC later joined the Gulf, arriving under the callsign "Jet Italia 2478" just before midday.

Ryanair Boeing 737-800 EI-DCJ made a first visit operating both afternoon FR554/5 + 556/7 Dublin rotations

A wet afternoon saw Lufthansa Regional CRJ D-ACRQ make its second and third visits as LH4882/3 & LH4884/5 from Dusseldorf.

DHC-8 OE-HBC also made another appearance operating EMX709/710 as the EuroManx 'policy' of sending all sorts and everything on their services from the Isle of Man continues!

Lufthansa Regional CRJ D-ACRQ made its first visit, operating the mid afternoon LH4882/4883 flight from Dusseldorf.

Gulfstream 4 N510MG departed to the west just before midday after nightstopping with  NEA.

Carrying additional Manchester United Asia Tour 2005 titles, Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777-200 9M-MRN arrived during the afternoon to carry the football team to Hong Kong as MH8174.

Livingston Airbus 321 I-LIVD headed the list of several unusual operations, touching down on a much delayed Astraeus charter from Bergamo as AEU472 after lunch.

Dubrovnik Airline MD-83 9A-CDB filled in for Greek outfit Alexandair on their AXN173/174 Zakynthos charter late morning.

Other ops saw Air Italy Boeing 757-200 I-AIGB position in from Milan to operate for Excel Airways to Thessaloniki as XLA2262, and Euro Atlantic 767 CS-TLO covering for Thomas Cook again, this time to Lanzarote as TCX017K.

Another former easyJet Boeing 737-300 (G-EZYJ) made a first visit in the colours of Sky Europe during the evening as HA-LKS touched down operating NE190 from Bratislava.

Arkia Boeing 757-300 4X-BAW visited on a charter from Tel Aviv and onto Paris CDG late evening as AIZ913.

Slovenian Citationjet 525 S5-BAY touched down mid morning to park on Stand 60 before moving over to NEA. Falcon 900 LX-GJL arrived earlier in the day as SVW719L to join Citation XL I-BENT at Northern Executive.

Saudi Boeing 777-200 HZ-AKA visited from Paris CDG and on to Riyadh as SV7529 either side of midday.

Ryanair Boeing 737-800s are now scheduled in on most daily flights from Dublin. EI-DCG paid its first visits on the afternoon FR554/555 + 556/557 rotations.

Manchester Airport, Monday 18th July

Finnair Boeing 757-200 OH-LBR continues to appear on Air Scandic charters, operating to/from Dalaman during the first part of the day after positioning in late Sunday. The aircraft then departed to Glasgow to operate to Orlando Sanford as SCY7771. 

Benair Citation 560XL I-BENT touched down mid afternoon to nightstop. Citation 750 D-BTEN visited earlier in the day as BVR202, and J-MAX Air Services Hawker 800XP G-JMAX was again noted.

The evening saw MNG Cargo Airbus 300F TC-MNA visit as MNB1003 on the latest freight flight to Istanbul.

EuroManx Dash 8 OE-HBC was noted on the afternoon EMX709/710 Isle of Man flight.

New Netjets Beechjet 400 CS-DMF touched down at midday as NJE141P, Challenger 600 D-BUSY arrived as "Premium 03" and King Air N36579 called in briefly mid evening.

Condor Boeing 767-300 D-ABUZ was the latest to make a short fuelstop whilst inbound to Frankfurt from Las Vegas, touching down as DE083 at midday.

Finnair Boeing 757-200s have been based elsewhere for Air Scandic so far this summer, so OH-LBR provided a change when visiting from Belfast and on to Helsinki as SCY7732/901P during the morning.

'Blue Line' Boeing 757-200 TF-FIW returned to Paris CDG in the early hours as FI6008 after a two-day visit to SR Technics.

Boeing Business Jet A6-RJY paid its third visit in five days, touching down from Luton at midday as "Royal Jet 004".

Eastern Airways 'new' Jetstream 41 G-MAJO continues to operate Stansted services from Manchester since its first visit last Friday.

UK-based, Mexican registered Aero Commander XC-HAB was an interesting visitor, arriving mid morning for a four hour stay on the NEA apron alongside Falcon 2000EX I-NATS and Citation G-ESTA.

Air Medical Cessna 208 Caravan G-EORD arrived early evening as MCD057.

'FedEx Feeder'  ATR-42 EI-FXA continues to visit on Air Contractors' evening "ABR4GL" Glasgow-Manchester-Stansted scheduled freight flight.

Saudia 777 HZ-AKJ operated to and from Heathrow during the afternoon as SV7658.

Saudi Boeing 777-200 HZ-AKJ touched down from Riyadh in the early evening sunshine as SV7528.

As way of a change The Red Arrows performed a flypast during the afternoon whilst heading south after departure from Blackpool.

Back to relative 'normality', and executive movements of note included the tea-time arrival of Boeing 727 VP-BAB, a daytime visit from Citationjet EC-IRB (SKT201/202) and Falcon 2000 I-NATS, a mid evening arrival as "Sirio 254".

Condor Boeing 767-300 D-ABUC called in for fuel whilst in the latter stages of flight DE083 from Las Vegas to Frankfurt early morning.

Air Canada sent in C-GHPD a 767-300 to help cover for yesterdays poorly aircraft which was still here. 

A hot and sunny afternoon saw a couple of Ambulance charters with Learjet 35 LX-ONE and Dornier 328 OE-GBB arriving within minutes of each other. 

Early evening saw another MNG Cargo A300F in the shape of TC-MNN wearing Express.net livery.

Aer Lingus' new A320 EI-DEO paid its first visit operating the EI214 afternoon Dublin service.

Saudi Boeing 777-200 HZ-AKF touched down on a charter from Riyadh as SV7527 mid afternoon.

This was preceded by Royal Jet Boeing Business Jet A6-RJY, present for just over an hour, as ROJ004.

Prior to lunch, movements of note saw Beech 90 G-SFSG visit as "Suzy 933", Netjets Gulf 4 CS-DKA in an out as NJE717G/994P and Ryanair Boeing 737-800 EI-DHG noted on the early FR552/553 Dublin schedule.

Ryan International Boeing 757-200 N930RD was in action for MyTravel Airways during the day, operating to Menorca as MYT167/168.

Eastern Airways Saab 2000 G-CDEB paid its first visit on the morning EZE401/402 Norwich schedule, whilst Jetstream 41 G-MAJO followed suit later in the day on EZE405/406.

Titan Airways Boeing 737-300 G-ZAPW positioned from Bournemouth to fly for Thomsonfly to Naples as BY348A/348B.

Executive movements of note included Falcon 50 F-GYOL as BES202 and Citation 750 D-BLUE as BVR505, both early morning.

Wearing basic Etihad Airways livery, Euro Atlantic Boeing 767-300 CS-TLO arrived from Lisbon in the evening sunlight as TCX174P to operate on behalf of Thomas Cook to Cayo Coco, Cuba, in place of their usual Airbus 330 service.

British Airways upgraded to Boeing 777-200 G-VIIO on their mid-evening BA2910/2911 London Gatwick shuttle.

Malmo Aviation returned again, with RJ-100 SE-DSP touching down mid-afternoon from Gothenburg as SCW4269 and later positioning to Hanover as SCW7270.

Air Italy 757 I-AIGA made a return to Ringway operating on behalf of MyTravel Airways, touching down as MYT285P from Milan Malpensa, to operate to Heraklion as MYT285/286 during the day.

Air Finland Boeing 757-200 OH-AFK positioned in mid morning to fly to and from Santorini for Excel Airways as XLA2222/2223.

MNG Cargo Airbus 300F TC-MNU visited in the early hours operating a delayed outbound freight charter to Istanbul as MNB1003.

Smart Challenger 604 OH-WIC touched down late morning as JEF104 to park on the Northern Executive apron.

Embraer Legacy OE-IAS arrived during the evening for its second visit to Ringway, joining OH-WIC at NEA.

bmi Baby Boeing 737-300 G-TOYE continued to operate from Ringway after making its first appearance on Sunday. First assignment for the aircraft was Cork and back early morning.

Turkish Airlines Airbus 321 TC-JMB replaced the usual 737 on their morning TK1993/1994 Istanbul schedule.

Singapore Cargo 747-400F 9V-SFB finally continued its journey to Dublin as SQ7354 mid afternoon, after a day in the engine test bay.

Citationjet 525 EC-JIU departed as EXU7204 to Figari early afternoon after an overnight stay on the NEA apron.
