MANCHESTER AIRPORT AVIATION VIEWING PARK GUIDE

AVIATION VIEWING PARK INFORMATION top

AVP Location

This is the official viewing area and offers excellent views, photo opportunities and is now home to Concorde G-BOAC. The area is situated close to the Northern Executive Aviation ramp and maintenance areas. With Runway 24R / 06L directly in front. Before the new runway was built it was great for departing shots, but now as most departures use the new runway (except between 1200 and 1500) these are harder to get. All arriving aircraft can be photographed though as they vacate the runway and larger aircraft types can be taken as they taxi out to 24L.
