'New' UK airliners continue to appear at Manchester as summer continues to kick in. Today was the turn of Monarch Airlines' former Dutchbird and Sabena Airbus 320 G-MRJK to debut, positioning from Luton to operate ZB546 to Madrid.

Air Pullmantur Boeing 747-200 EC-JFR will nightstop, having arrived in the opposite direction, from Madrid, mid afternoon as TCX62P. The aircraft is expected to fly for Thomas Cook over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Sky Europe Boeing 737-500 OM-SEA operated the latest "Relax 3SZ/4SZ" (NE186/187) Krakow rotation.

Falcon 2000 TC-RMK touched down mid afternoon to park at NEA where it would subsequently nightstop.

Air Traffic Citation 650 D-CCEU touched down mid afternoon as "Snoopy 272".

MyTravel Airbus 320 G-ERAA appeared from SR Technics also during the afternoon for the first time and is the former C-FRAA.

Citelynx CRJ G-ELNX made its latest appearance at Manchester just after midday, this time carrying additional "Britain forward not back" titles. Presume related to a spot of politics, and not someone's 'labour' of love in the paintshop (sorry) !!

MyTravel Airbus 320 G-DHJZ returned from its winter stint in Canada as C-FOJZ, touching down still wearing its C- marks as SSV794 from Toronto. Several aircraft are expected to return from Skyservice in the coming weeks to take up UK registrations for summer service.

Another day, more execjets, with Learjet 45 N708SP slotting in late morning between the usual Netjets and Gold Air traffic.

Embraer 135 Legacy OE-IWP headlined the list of morning executive movements, making a brief appearance as "Aviocontract 213/214" mid morning.

First visits galore amongst the schedules with CSA Boeing 737-500 OK-WGD departing to Prague as OK647 after nightstop, Croatian Airlines' Star Alliance Airbus 320 9A-CTM on OU508/509 and Air Baltic 737 YL-BBG (BT671/672) from Riga during the afternoon.

Excel Airways leased TriStar CS-TEB to operate a rotation to Sharm-el-Sheik.

Eastern Airways recently registered Saab 2000 G-CDKA paid its first visit, from Norwich early morning as EZE1681/681P.

Euromanx continue their policy of leasing anything with seats, this time Highland Airways Jetstream 31 G-BTXG operated their afternoon service.

Plenty of executive aircraft today with the pick of the bunch being Falcon 900EX G-DAEX.

Icelandair Boeing 757-200 TF-FIT arrived from Akureyri early afternoon as FI1507 for an hours stay before positioning empty to Paris CDG. 

Making up for the splash of colour Icelandair forgot to add to their 757, Executive CRJ G-ELNX paid us another visit either side of midday.

TriStar ZD950 departed after lunch onwards to Brize Norton having originally diverted in during the early hours as RRR3733.

Beech Premier LX-PMR headed the days list of executive movements to NEA, touching down during the morning for a three hour visit.

Air exel Embraer 145 PH-RXA continues to operate for bmi Commuter, and was noted again on the morning BD390/391 Glasgow rotation, amongst others.

China Airlines Cargo 747-400F B-18719 made its second visit to Manchester on CI247 from Taipei early afternoon.

Citation 750 N750TX paid another visit touching down during a sunny start to the day, in between departures by nightstopping pair Gulf 4 N115FL and Falcon 900EX N55TY.

'Prop jobs' amongst the execjets included Beech 200 King Air G-CLOW, in and out as "Silver 25", and TBM-700 N702BM, early afternoon.

Lotus Air Airbus 319 SU-LBF filled in for the usual Helios 737-800 on their morning ZU560 Paphos flight.

Travel Service Boeing 737-800 HA-LKB made a return visit to Manchester from Budapest as QS206 mid afternoon.

Executive movements included Hawker 800XP N974JD, in before the evening rush for an overnight stay with NEA.

This had been preceded by Citation 550 OE-GHP -an afternoon visitor as "James 517", present for just over three hours.

The evening saw Hapag Lloyd Express sent specially painted 737-500 D-AHLI once again on HLX3524 from Cologne, whilst JetX MD-80 TF-JXB made the short hop over from the Isle of Man on behalf of EuroManx (EMX709/710).

Air Wales ATR-42 G-KNNY covered for Air Southwest on their morning flight to Bristol and beyond ... and later in the day, Sky Europe Boeing 737-500 OM-SEB debuted from Krakow as "Relax 3SZ/4SZ" (NE186/187).

Reminiscing about times gone by, Lufthansa has gone forward to the past by repainting one of their current fleet into their old livery: Airbus 321 D-AIRX visited early evening from Frankfurt.

Former Iberworld Airbus 320 EI-DIH touched down during the afternoon as RYN6106, carrying Funjet Vacations titles and returning from winter in the USA.
