Embraer 175 SP-LIA departed early morning, returned to Warsaw on the outbound LOT290 schedule.

Exec traffic saw Citationjet 525 D-IDBW touch down in the sunshine during the morning to park on the NEA ramp.

Mahan Air Airbus 320 EP-MHK visited late evening operating IRM5018/5017 from Tehran.

Etihad Airways finally swapped A330's on their EY313/314 Abu Dhabi schedule, with recent delivery A6-EYH visiting a sunny Manchester for the first time early morning.

British Airways continue to assign Airbus 321 equipment on flights from Heathrow, G-EUXH the latest to operate three daytime 'shuttles' to London.

Wearing Air France by Airlinair livery, ATR-42 F-GPYF arrived from Paris Le Bourget mid afternoon on an inbound charter as RLJ7454.

Antonov Design Bureau AN-124 UR-82027 positioned in mid evening, touching down from Kiev as ADB919F.

Arkia Boeing 757-300 4X-BAW covered for Helios on their afternoon ZU414/415 flight from Paphos.

Air Contractors made a rare daytime appearance, with ATR-72 EI-SLH visiting from Bournemouth and out to Shannon as ABR001P/001 either side of midday.

Executive movements saw Learjet 60 OO-TME visit for an hour early afternoon, and Corvette F-GPLA head off mid afternoon as AOV136B after a local flight.

Monday 24th April

Recently acquired Boeing 737-700 OM-NGC made its Ringway debut, operating the evening Sky Europe "Relax 3KR/4LR" (NE190/191) flight from Bratislava.

KLM sprang a surprise, with Martinair Boeing 767-300 PH-MCJ assigned to the mid evening KL1093/1094 Amsterdam rotation in place of the usual Fokker 100.

An aircraft change saw Air Berlin Airbus 319 D-ABGB visit for the first time, operating the early evening AB8054/8055 Stansted schedule.

'White tail' Boeing 737-300 LN-KKI flew the latest Norwegian Air Shuttle sortie from Bergen during the afternoon as DY1342/1343.

Sea King ZH542 called in after midday, present for under an hour for refuel using callsign "Rescue 125".

GA movements throughout the day, many in connection with the afternoon FA Cup football match at Old Trafford, included arrivals from UK based Citation 750 N750GF, Dornier 328 G-CJAC (SDJ30), Challenger OE-INI (JMS322) plus another visit from 767 P4-MES.

Aero Nova Metroliner EC-HCH touched down mid afternoon as "OVA P42" to park on the west apron.

Canadian Armed Forces CC130H Hercules 130344 departed the main apron after an overnight stay, as CFC2641 mid afternoon. The aircraft previously visited Manchester on 14/12/05.

Atlasjet Airbus 320 TC-OGF operated the early morning Nouvelair charter from Djerba as LBT8046/8047.

Boeing 737-800 G-XLAF recently became the first in the Excel Airways fleet to be fitted with performance enhancing winglets, and the aircraft positioned in from Lourdes to operate an outbound to Faro as XLA756.

Executive 767-300 P4-MES touched down late morning, no doubt in connection with English football champions elect Chelsea, and their match at nearby Bolton.

Air Sofia Antonov 12 LZ-SFN touched down mid afternoon as SFB2250 on a freight charter, parking on Stand 81.

Latest Air France Airbus 320 F-GKXM operated a Paris CDG - Manchester schedule for the first time, assigned to AF2269.

Another first saw KLM Fokker 100 PH-OFN (the former N106ML/PK-PFG of Midway/Pelita) debut on KL1083/1084 from Amsterdam.

Executive movements of note saw Learjet 35 N628GZ appear from NEA in the afternoon sun, and later in the day, NetJets Beech 1900D CS-DOC passed through.

Monday 10th April

Polet Flight Antonov 124 RA-82080 arrived from Frankfurt Hahn to operate an outbound charter to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic as POT620, departing early afternoon.

Etihad Airways A330 A6-EYG paid its third visit, and is pictured departing into the blue during the morning as ETD314 returning to Abu Dhabi.

Sunday 9th April

Norwegian Air Shuttle continued a twice weekly Bergen flight, with LN-KKF debuting on the first DY1342/1343 Sunday service late afternoon.

Other evening firsts included Eastern Airways Saab 2000 G-CDKB from Inverness mid evening (EZE85VM) and Ryanair 737-800 EI-DHS late on from Dublin (FR558).

Learjet 45XR N5014E departed NEA early morning, bound for Biggin Hill on delivery to Gold Air (G-OLDW).

Other GA movements, mainly in connection with the afternoon Manchester United v Arsenal football match saw Agusta 109 pair EI-JON and N195NJ visit and on the 'heavier' side, Northern Aviation Beech 200 G-ONAL returned as did Falcon 200 N777FC, the latter arriving through a thunderstorm early afternoon for an eighty minute visit.

Saturday 8th April

Biman Bangladesh commenced DC-10 flights through Manchester to New York, with S2-ACS calling in Westbound during the evening as BBC011.

Executive Boeing 727 N727VJ touched down early afternoon for main apron parking.

Mahan Air substituted an Airbus 320 for the usual A310, with EP-MHJ arriving at Terminal 2 from Tehran late evening as IRM5018.

Earlier in the day, Nouvelair Airbus 321 TS-IQB visited from Monastir as LBT8046/8047.

Lauda Boeing 737-800 OE-LNR operated Austrian Airlines' penultimate Innsbruck charter at midday.

Another first visit saw Atlasjet continued their once weekly Airbus 320 flight from Istanbul, with TC-OGR touching down in the wind and rain as OGE6113.

Thursday 6th April

American International Group Global Express N70PS touched down in the early hours to daystop at NEA, and was joined at various points throughout by, amongst others; Gulfstream 3 N105VS, NetJets Hawker 800XP CS-DRI and Gulf 550 VP-BGN.

Norweigan Air Shuttle Boeing 737-300 LN-KKJ operated the inaugural DY1340/1341 from Bergen at nightfall.

An American exec jet fest during the day saw Learjet 60 N503BC arrived early morning to join nightstopping pair Falcon 900EX N55TY and Gulfstream 4 N729TY.
